On this page you will find additional information about the University of Peru that will underline why the university is such a special place to study and be a part of.

Last year was a record breaking year for the University of Peru for a number of reasons and with your help the next year will be even better.  In the 2009-2010 we had our highest ever student population with more than 30,000 students enrolled at the University of Peru either taking part-time or full-time study courses.  We also had our largest ever intake of overseas students who comprised just under 5% of the total student population bringing diversity and different cultures to the campus.

As well as a record number of students we had our largest ever range of courses to choose from with more than 200 hundred domestically and internationally recognised degrees and post-graduate courses on offer.  Few other universities in Peru come close to matching this total at the present time.

As well as a host of academic achievements there were a number of other successes for the University of Peru in 2010.  Our various sports teams had a number of successes with our football and athletics teams featuring prominently.

Our first XI football team once again won the Lima Inter-University league by a comfortable margin and there were many successes by our athletes at the Lima Regional finals in May.
We hope that next will be even better than this one and with your help it will be.
