Student life at the University of Peru is not all about lectures, coursework and long hours in the library. Far from it in fact. Student life at the University of Peru is always exciting and we actively encourage all of our students to participate in extra-curricular activities to increase the sense of community around the campus and to make new friends and relationships. However you like to spend your time when you are not studying we are sure that you will find something to enjoy while you are at the University of Peru.
The social life at the University of Peru is dynamic and vibrant with something happening every night of the week. The main hall of the campus regularly plays host to top name bands and is the setting for the various balls and dances that are held by the university with the Fresher’s ball being a particular favourite with new students. On campus there are several bars that provide discounted drinks and a variety of coffee shops and cafes to relax in between lectures. Situated close to the campus is a fantastic range of bars and nightclubs that cater to the student population.
At the University of Peru you will find a wide range of clubs and activities to join while you are here. The university has an excellent sporting tradition and you will find a club or society representing most sports on campus. Some of the most popular clubs are the university football squad which last year had 7 teams competing in different leagues as well as the athletics team. You can also find more niche sports such as fencing and water polo on campus.
Other clubs and societies that you can find on campus include the Cinema Society, Book Lovers Club as well as numerous bands and charitable organisations that are always looking for new members. And if you can’t find the club you are looking for why not start one yourself? |
